This stunning University Park home received a thoughtful cosmetic remodel and refurnishing, transforming key spaces into both functional and inviting areas.
A once-unused formal dining room is now a chic sitting area, perfect for hosting friends over cocktails. The space is elevated with a gilded cork wallcovering, rich blue patterned silk drapery, and a whimsical hand-blown glass chandelier. Original art by Peter Lik, reframed to enhance the room’s style, ties the design together. The contemporary furnishings complement the home’s traditional architecture, creating a seamless blend of old and new.
In the main living space, we refreshed the area by working with the client’s existing sectional sofa, introducing patterned window treatments, and a custom Stark rug. We added new pieces to balance the room, maximizing seating for entertaining and maintaining flow with the newly updated kitchen and breakfast area. The kitchen’s modern, airy design is anchored by an iconic oval Saarinen style table paired with unique dining chairs, bringing an elegant touch to this timeless space.
